Apple Roast Nut Salad: Crisp Romaine and Spring Greens, Fresh Cut Apples, Roast Seasoned Walnuts, Croutons, Red Onion, Tomato and Raspberry Vinaigrette.

The 14th Annual Budda Box Golf Outing would not have been such a great
success without the efforts and donations of individuals and businessess
in and outside Marquette County.  Your continued annual support allows
us to assist residents of our county who suffer from cancer.

VISION STATEMENT:  To assist with needs of persons who have been diagnosed with cancer and are residents of Marquette County.

Budda-Box Inc. reports an increase in the number of individuals assisted by the county organization in 2004. 

2004 Budda-Box sponsored and organized the following events:

Health Fair-October 2004 - free cancer screening, cancer education
Christmas Poinsettias & cards to cancer survivors
Gourmet Dinner and Entertainment Night-March 2004
Volleyball Tournament-March 2004 - 17 teams participated
Golf Outing and Auction-July 2004

Your generous contributions have made these events successful. Thanks to your donations and those from area businesses, organizations and individuals, Budda-Box was able to meet the needs of over 70 new cancer patients in Marquette County and enabled us to offer three $1,000 scholarships to graduates seeking a career in the medical field; one to Heidi Metcalf of Montello Schools, one to Joshua Neeb and Shanda Wiesjahn of Westfield Schools.

In addition, Budda-Box received a number of memorials.  All the past support has helped our organization to continue aiding the rising number of people fighting cancer.

The July golf outing is our largest fundraiser. Anyone willing to donate auction items, monies or volunteer their time, please call Kent Janisch 608-296-2255 or Mark Robinson 608-297-7500.  All donations, purchases and volunteers are appreciated.

 If you know anyone living in Marquette County diagnosed with cancer who needs financial support, please have him/her, a family member or friend call any Budda-Box director.  We’re here to help!
